Oz day flying low!

Ran into Greeny the other night at Coles and he said he was going sailing on Australia Day and to come along. Big was there too so we all loaded the eskies and did some tacking and jiving out in Stockton Bight. The girls needed some fresh air after cutting up food below deck

but we had a nice NE breeze to play with and a family of dolphins surfing the bow wave.

A light southerly popped up when we came back into the harbour so we motored back to the berth. After late arvo drinks I was driving home via Strezzie and noticed a HG car parked up top. Well, a lone pilot had been waiting too long for it to pick up and was set up on launch so I helped with a hang check and he got off in the last of civil twilight.

Phone camera was struggling.

I watched as he struggled against a bumpy southerly to glide down and land on Bar Beach and by the time I drove down had carried up to the road. Ah well, a flight is a good TO, flight and good landing.
